Youth finalists announced for the Visioning the Outdoors short film competition

The three finalists for the SEQ Catchments sponsored Youth category at the Visioning the Outdoors Short film festival have been announced!

The finalists , aged 15-17, are:

  • Henry Harbeck (17 years) from Carina, Brisbane, for his film Skateboarding Clip Compilation;
  • Dermot McNamara (17 years) from Arana Hills, Brisbane, for his film Kepler Track NZ – Year 12 
  • Bryn Lloyd (15 years) from Cooroy, Sunshine Coast, for his film The Journey.

The winners across all of the categories will be announced at the Visioning the Outdoors Screening & Awards Night to be held Wednesday 24th July, 2013 from 6.30pm at the University of Queensland’s Schonell Cinema, St  Lucia Campus. 

Tickets are now on sale for the Screening & Awards Night and the films and highlights from across the different categories mean there will be something for everyone.
